Men arrested for marijuana possession
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001
- The Media Services Department reported the theft
of a laptop. The laptop has been missing since Oct. 30.
Monday, Nov. 12, 2001
- Wendy Loran of Brookland reported the theft of a toolbox
from her vehicle at 8 p.m.
- Parice Tyler of Jonesboro reported the theft of a checkbook
and several checks at 4:30 p.m. The checkbook was inside an unlocked
cabinet and contained 25 ASPAC checks and one NAACP check.
- Kenny Brewer, an employee of the ASU Convocation Center,
reported the theft of $91. He said someone had placed two bags
filled with money in the outgoing mailbox next to the admission
entrance and had been left there over the weekend. When employees
found the bags, $91 was reported missing.
Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001
- Deangulus Stevison of Lepanto was arrested at 4 a.m.
for possession of marijuana. A UPD officer was dispatched to
his room after receiving a complaint about a strong odor of marijuana.
The officer found marijuana on the desk and confiscated it, then
arrested Stevison and took him to the Craighead County Jail,
where he was fingerprinted and released.
Thursday, Nov. 7, 2001
- UPD officers were dispatched to Kays Hall after receiving
a complaint about a white powdery substance found in the south
hall of the fifth floor. Officers found it to be only laundry
detergent, and disposed of it.
Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2001
- Allen Wagner and Kaleb Creshier, both of Jonesboro,
were arrested at 8:41 p.m. for possession of marijuana.
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2001
- A female of Collegiate Park reported harassing phone
calls.
