X-Treme Entertainment Road Manager Blair Green demonstrates
proper technique for air lift in the X-Treme Air ride Wednesday.
Blair said X-Treme Air uses a DC-3 propeller in combination
with a 1,500 hp, 16-cylinder diesel engine, to create winds equivalent
to a lower level 5 hurricane. He said students could see "what
it's like first-hand to be in a sky diving simulator." This
and many more activities took place as part of Spring Fest 2001
on the Carl R. Reng Center lawn.
